Cheerleading Club

The Cheerleading Club holds auditions in week two each semester for a squad of up to 20 girls (plus a minimum of four boys) to perform at Bond sporting events and other outside sporting events arranged by referral. We are an Australian cheerleading squad meaning we incorporate a high-energy dance style with stunting, tumbling and other lifts. We train four hours per week and try to include workshops with renowned professionals throughout each semester.

We bring a fun and fresh approach to sporting events at Bond and around the Gold Coast. We have performed at sporting events such as the grand final of the International Rugby 7's Tournament, game day for the Gold Coast Breakers as well as an exhibition performance for the Gold Coast Blaze. Bond sporting events include the annual Alumni/staff v Students Grudge Match in Bondstock, USA v Rest of the World Basketball, North v South AFL and Business v Law Rugby during Grudge Week.
