'80s Tennis Night Results

BUSA recently held semesterly '80s Tennis Night, a tennis tournament with a twist. Students were encouraged to dress up in their best '80s outfits.

Congratulations to the following students:

First place: Tom George and Stacey McStay;
Second place: Kelsie Ford and Akhil Gupta;
Third place: Luis Kennedy and Jessie Brouwers;
Fourth place: Shannon Crowley and Catherine Phillips;
Fifth place: Stephen Choo and Mimi Jun Min Lee;
Sixth place: Georgie McConville and Sophie McNaught
Best Dressed: Shannon Crowley and Catherine Phillips for their excellent outfit coordination in the minor rounds in Week 5 and the final round in Week 7.

That there must be more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?...

Me neither, but bring out the hair gel, strap on the stilletto's or come in you're most derelique clothing to celebrate the end of exams!

With:

- Danny Fai Fai laying down some tunes from 7pm,
- A fashion show from the stylish Pandora's Secret at 9pm,
- The UK's DJ Petey Pete mixing it up to finish the night,
- MP3's for 'really, really, ridiculously good looking costumes', and
- more surprises to come!

A Day at the Races

13 March 2010, 11:30am - 5:00pm.

Ladies of Bond, get your frocks and fascinators ready. Gentlemen, dust off those suits, polish those shoes and come down to the Gold Coast Turf Club to watch the fillies and bet on the stallions in true style at BUSA's Day at the Races.

With a long, lavish lunch and prizes for best dressed and an after-party at Surfers Rowers to kick long into the night with, this is a day not to be missed. The after-party at Surfers Rowers includes $5 pizzas, $5 burgers and other great specials, so make sure you make it there after the races to sit by the water for the rest of the evening.

BURC vs. Bond Pirates

Bond University Rugby Club vs. Bond Pirates

12 March 2010, 7pm - 10pm.

The parable of the prodigal son takes its very own Bond twist with the Bond University Rugby Club (BURC) taking on the Bond Pirates this Friday in their first trial game for the season.

Come down and support our boys in blue and gold, for a free BBQ, the Bond Cheerleaders and a bus to BURC's sponsors the Beach Hotel afterwards.

APPLICATION TO STAY ON CAMPUS FOR

May 2010 SEMESTER

This form must be completed by all resident students and submitted online by Friday 5 March(Friday Week 7)

IMPORTANT NOTICES:

If this form is not received by the close date, your current room will be released and you will need to re-apply for your room at www.myroom.bond.edu.au.

Check-out for all students currently living on campus is on or before 4:00pm Sunday 25 April (end of Week 14). All room keys must be returned by this time.

Check-in for students returning to live on campus next semester is on or after 10:00am 9 May (the start of Bond Week)

You must advise the accommodation office that you wish to stay in residence over the semester break - charges apply.
